Eigenlijk ben ik helemaal niet zo van de musicals, tot ik kennis maakte met We Will Rock You natuurlijk. Een van de ‘originating roles’ is Kerry Ellis, een bekende musicalster in Engeland én in de VS. Zo heeft ze onder andere in Wicked gespeeld, waar ze Defying Gravity zong.

In 2010 nam ze, samen met Brian May, een eigen album op met daarop onder andere Defying Gravity!

Dit nummer heb ik een tijd lang gedraaid als ik opstond, beter kun je de dag bijna niet beginnen!

Whose job is it?

This is a story about four people, named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it. Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done is, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thougt Anybody could do it, but Nobody realised that Everybody wouldn’t do it.

In the end, Everbody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
